Roger's Boy

Close your eyes,
Have no fear,
The monsters gone,
He's on the run and your daddy's here,

Beautiful,
Beautiful, beautiful,
Beautiful Boy,

Before you go to sleep,
Say a little prayer,
Every day in every way,
It's getting better and better,

Beautiful,
Beautiful, beautiful,
Beautiful Boy,

Out on the ocean sailing away,
I can hardly wait,
To see you to come of age,
But I guess we'll both,
Just have to be patient,
Yes it's a long way to go,
But in the meantime,

Before you cross the street,
Take my hand,
Life is just what happens to you,
While your busy making other plans,

Beautiful,
Beautiful, beautiful,
Beautiful Boy.

  1. I am so sorry for your loss. Travis is such a beautiful boy and in his pictures I can see that he had such a precious soul. The joy I see in his eyes is a testament to the family and parents you are -- he was a well loved baby boy.

I will send lots of prayers your way. I will pray that God and his angels give Travis lots of hugs and that God also brings peace to you as you go this unbearable time.

    Love and hugs,

  2. This is such a beautiful song and it fits your beautiful boy so well. I am so so sorry about your loss. I have been thinking of Travis for over a day now. What a blessed little soul he seemed to be. I am so so sorry for all of you. There are no words.

  4. I am so sorry is such an inadquate response but it is difficult to properly represent such deep emotions with a verbal phrase. Please know that I pray for your strength and that you know you are truly amazing parents to your children. I strive to celebrate the glory of eternal life that Travis has received.

The tears come easily for your loss and the new "normal" you now have.

May God bless each of you and keep you close in the minutes, days, weeks & years to come.

    Tiffany, another heart mom.
