We have been blogging now since we found out about Travis' heart condition. We have "followers" of our blog that have registered and we appreciate them. But, I know there are a lot more people who read our blog. Delurk yourselves! For fun, leave a comment and let me know who you are and how you found our blog.
We stumbled upon your blog this fall, as we were awaiting the arrival of our daughter with HLHS. Hearing of Travis' progress gave me great hope in the final, anxiety wrought weeks. Our baby arrived on December 2nd, had her Norwood on the 4th, and came home to meet her two big sisters on the 16th. It's been wild ever since! We are just waiting to hear that it's time to go back to Boston for her Glenn; they are aiming for four months. Always great to hear of Travis' progress and see his smiling face!
ReplyDeleteI first read about you on the Bump. Travis is in my heart and I pray for him every night.

I've been following your blog since late November. I found a link to it on a post made on TheBump.com message boards. I follow Travis' story because your strength as parents amazes me! He is so strong and it's obvious he gets his strength from his Mom & Dad. Thank you for shareing your stories with the interwebz...it's inspiring and has blessed more then you know!
ReplyDeleteI follow publicly, but don't think I've ever commented before. I found your blog on The Bump a few weeks ago. I actually responded to one of your posts on there telling you were are HUGE Chargers fans in this house too!! Not sure if you ever saw that. I love reading about Travis and think about your family often. :)
ReplyDeleteI found your blog on "Hope's Blog" as I've been following her story with HLHS. I am almost 34 weeks along with a little girl who also has HLHS. All the families that are linked by this condition and all other CHD's have given my husband and I the courage to wake up each day with a new sense of optimism for what awaits our baby girl!

HI guys! It's Travis's nurse Denise. I got your thank you note! Wow! Way to make my day. It's always nice to feel appreciated so thanks for taking the time to write it. Your son is looking fabulous. You'll have to let us know when he is due back for the next surgery. The blog is awesome by the way! Take care....
ReplyDeleteHi, I'm Linda. I work with your sister Tina and have heard all about Travis since before he was born. I think you have an adorable little boy and enjoy reading about his progress. I also introduced myself to your husband at the SMHS v. MHHS game, my daughter plays for Mission Hills.
ReplyDeleteHi! My name is Angie, and I've been following your blog for a little while (can't remember whose blog I found your blog from). My daughter, Sophia, has a number of CHDs, but is doing really great now. Glad to see Travis growing so wonderfully! ~Angie Montgomery
